About the Artist:
Christine Duggan is a classic polymath. Uniquely left and right brained, she is a lifelong artist that excelled in Mathematics at Cal Poly Pomona and worked as an engineer for a decade in the aerospace industry. Now living in southwestern Pennsylvania, she concentrates full time on her passion - watercolors. Painting both landscapes and architecture, she has created her own signature technique that blends realism with an impressionistic flair. As a juried member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, she has presented a number of works inspired by the landscapes of her travels including most recently Iceland, Canada, and U.S. National Parks. She also does commissioned works painting sentimental structures such as family, childhood, and first homes.
